Sock it to me!

When my mom was in town recently she requested a pair of stripey socks...and who am I to say no to free knitting???  She paid for the yarn and away I went with knitting them up for her.  I got the yarn from knitpicks and it's called "Coney Island"...gotta love it!

When I had finished one sock, M looked at it and said "I want a pair of crazy grandma Kathy socks too!  And I had plenty of extra yarn to knit a pair up for her!  They were so cute to knit!  Little socks are so fun!  I used a pattern from Charmed Knits, but I didn't really like the way they wanted me to do the toes, so I just finished off the toe the way I had done my mom's.  Simple enough.

M on tiptoes to fully show off her socks

My mom's socks (isn't this yarn so much fun!)

Little Peea didn't want to be left out of the fun...so here she is modeling Grandma's socks!

So what I want to know is when you are going to buy some sheep and start spinning the yarn yourself.
