This year is our first year having a real tree and we really don't have any ornaments, so I decided that I needed to knit some up. I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter, and I've been wanting to knit some little Weasley sweaters for a couple of years now. This was the year! I had the idea from this book, but this pattern was easier. And once I started, I couldn't stop!! They're so cute and I decided that everyone in my extended family needed one for their tree! (I haven't mailed these of yet...but really no one from my family ever looks at this...so I'm probably not spoiling anything...) I knitted 21 in all...then then added everyone's initials to them. If only knitting big sweaters were this easy...
Our family circle. My parents, their kids, and all the grandkids.
My little family of sweaters
My older brother's family (the little one on the right is for his new baby girl that's due this week!! Come out baby Blair!)
Pattern: Mini Sweaters. Pattern here.
Yarn: Odds and ends from my stash (it's been a GREAT way to use up those random balls I've had lurking in the bottom of my yarn bins).
Needles: size 2
