Meet flapping Fred. Isn't he a hoot! I'm teaching the young girls (ages 8-9) at my church how to knit this week, and this is the project we're going to make. This creation is from the book Kids Learn to Knit. The book has darling pictures and easy instructions for learning how to knit. It has a couple of easy projects that teach you the different stitches. Hopefully the girls will have fun knitting these up. You should try one too!
