mischievous monkey

Meet another little mischievous monkey that I made up.  My younger brother Ryan called me on Saturday night asking for advice on what to get his 2-yr old daughter for her b-day.  I suggested a doll or a book and then he was asking me if I'd make her a little monkey.  No problem.  So I put down the sock I was working on and pulled out my yarn odds and ends to find the right colors.  I think this little monkey turned out super cute!  It's a fast and easy project to crochet.  I hope little Riley likes it!

You are so the best aunt ever! My neice's birthday is coming and I was thinking I could give her a store bought (spelling?) item because I am out of sorts from my sewing stuff. But even so, I could never create such an adorable monkey...

So cute! Lucky girl! And what is this about crochet? When did you pick that up?

I haven't checked his for a while. That monkey is cute, and like Sjauna, I thought, "what? you crochet, too!" Good job. Hey, I'm taking a community knitting class this fall. I thought about you when I signed up. Now I don't have a knitter friend close enough to do my knitting for me.
